1. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website and the detailing services provided by VLR Detailing.
2. By using this website and making a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
3. We reserve the right to amend these Terms without prior notice.
Booking and Prepayment
2.1. All bookings must be made through our online system.
2.2. A prepayment of £30 is required to confirm the booking.
2.3. If the prepayment is not received, the booking will be considered invalid.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1. You may cancel your booking no later than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
3.2. If cancelled within the required timeframe, the prepayment will be fully refunded.
3.3. If the cancellation occurs after the stated timeframe or if the customer fails to attend the appointment, the prepayment will not be refunded.
Service Execution
4.1. We guarantee high-quality service delivery in accordance with the descriptions provided on our website.
4.2. The duration and specifics of the service may vary depending on the condition of the vehicle.
4.3. The customer must provide accurate information about their vehicle and its condition before the service is performed.
Liability
5.1. We are not responsible for any personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
5.2. We are not liable for any mechanical or electrical issues that arise during or after the service.
5.3. Any claims regarding the service must be reported within 24 hours of completion.
Privacy Policy
6.1. We respect our customers’ privacy and ensure the full protection of any personal data provided. All information obtained during the booking process or service provision is stored securely and used solely for order fulfilment, service quality improvement, and customer communication.
6.2. We do not disclose or share any customer data, including home addresses, phone numbers, vehicle registration details, or any other identifiable information, with third parties. Exceptions apply when necessary for service execution (e.g., payment processing) or when required by legal authorities under established regulations.
Events Beyond Our Control
7.1. We are not responsible for any delays, cancellations, or failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: Extreme weather conditions (heavy rain, strong winds, hail, snow, extreme temperatures) that make it impossible to carry out the service; Unexpected road closures, accidents, or traffic disruptions preventing us from reaching the customer’s location; Emergencies, government-imposed restrictions, or other unforeseen events that prevent us from delivering our services safely and effectively.
7.2. If a service is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, the booking will be rescheduled at the earliest possible date.
7.3. We will notify the customer as soon as possible and agree on a new date and time that is convenient for both parties.
7.4. If rescheduling is not possible due to factors outside of the customer’s control, the prepayment may be refunded or used for a future service.
Service Location Requirements
8.1. Detailing services are provided exclusively on private premises, such as driveways, private residential parking spaces, or designated rental locations. The customer must ensure sufficient space for service execution, including parking for our work van and full access to all vehicle doors.
8.2. We do not provide services on public roads, supermarket car parks, hypermarket parking areas, or any other public locations due to local legal restrictions.
8.3. If, upon arrival, the location does not meet the required conditions, we reserve the right to refuse service without refunding the prepayment.
Additional Charges for Heavy Contamination & Price Adjustments
9.1. Detailing service prices are based on a standard level of vehicle contamination.
9.2. If the vehicle is heavily contaminated (e.g., deep stains, excessive dirt, sand, pet hair, vomit, etc.), additional charges may apply.
9.3. The final cost assessment is conducted upon vehicle inspection before commencing the service.
9.4. Service duration may be extended depending on the level of contamination.
9.5. If the customer refuses to pay the additional charge after inspection, we reserve the right to decline service without refunding the prepayment.
Travel Charge
10.1. The first 60 minutes of travel (from our base location to the customer’s location) are free of charge.
10.2. From the second hour of travel (each way), an additional fee of £20 per extra hour will be applied.
